Recently, the Energy Regulatory Office of Guizhou Province conducted an on-site investigation into the construction and operation of electric vehicle charging facilities in Panzhou City, Liupanshui City, to understand the current state and prominent issues of industry development and promote the improvement of charging facility construction and operation.
The research team visited public charging stations and electric heavy-truck charging and swapping stations, examining equipment operation status, power utilization rates, and supporting power supply conditions. They learned about facility maintenance, fault handling, charge transparency, and heard from power supply enterprises on charging facility connection and power supply service guarantees, collecting feedback from operating companies and the public.
Addressing weak links and problems identified during the investigation, Guizhou Energy Regulatory Office urged power supply enterprises to fulfill their service responsibilities, optimize connection application processes, reduce processing times, strengthen distribution grid capacity assessments, and ensure power needs for charging facilities.
In the next step, Guizhou Energy Regulatory Office will strengthen inter-departmental coordination to improve energy service levels and support the construction of new power systems.
